The presentation concert of Radio Unistar was held on the same day, December 22, 200, in the Minsk Palace of Sports. Over 4000 people attended the concert conducted by Sergey Nkitko. DJ Groove, Lika and “Gosti Iz Buduschego” duo were among the guests of the presentation. A satellite link between the Unistar studio broadcasting live and the Palace of Sports was organized.

The music format of Unisatr is Adult Contemporary and Hot Adult Contemporary including the best of foreign, Russian and Belarusian music starting from the 1980s up to the present.

The broadcasting style features a mobile DJ, brief on-the-spot newscasts, the hottest hit music and orientation at active people.

The primary target audience includes successful, educated, active people aged from 25 to 45 with an income above medium. The broadcasting of the radio station is organized with consideration of the interests, tastes and lifestyle of the target audience.

Radio Unistar Broadcasting

Radio Unistar broadcasts in the FM band at the frequency of 99.5 MHz in Minsk and Minsk region and at the frequency of 102.3 MHz in Brest. Using the latest digital technologies makes it possible to produce a sustainable top-quality stereo signal. The consistent reception zone of Unistar (160-200 km around Minsk) is the vastest of all FM radio stations.

  • A 24-hour world music marathon “Live Earth” (which aimed at attracting the attention of people on our planet to the global warming problem and gathered over 100 bright starts of the musical Olympus as well as over 2 million listeners);
  • A common performance of the legendary U-2 and Green Day in New Orleans devastated by hurricane Katrina
  • Live broadcast of the a Robbie Williams live concert in Vienna.
