Radio UNISTAR is the winner of the contest «Best brand of 2010» in the category «Mass-media»
The tenth «Best Brand of the year» ceremony was held under the motto «Brands as Humans. Freedom. Individuality. Creativity». International Professional Jury worked tightly with the participants of the contest within two days and delivered their verdict.
The National Professional contest «Best Brand of 2010» is based on estimation of brand strategies, brands recognizability and attractiveness for customers. The Final Award Ceremony took place in the National Library of the Republic of Belarus on January 28, 2011.
According to the decision of the International Jury of Belarusian and foreign scientists and experts, brand-managers, representatives of top advertising agencies and creative studios, Radio UNISTAR was awarded a silver medal of the Professional contest «Best Brand of 2010» in the category «Mass-media».
A member of the jury Piotr Popelushko, who is the Managing Director of the Advertising holding SMG Belarus, presented the Director of Radio Unistar Anastasiya Shatilo with the award.
Brand UNISTAR means people, a real team of professionals who work on creation of the brand — highly-qualified DJ`s as well as Promotion Department, who fulfill the marketing strategy by carrying out special projects and promos and who support the most significant and outstanding events of the country. Brand UNISTAR is also our listeners and advertisers who help to make a reality of the most ambitious ideas!
Being awarded a silver medal of the contest, UNISTAR once again proved its strong stand at the radio market.
On the 22nd of December radio station Unistar celebrated its 10 anniversary!
On the 15th of December Unistar had a Birthday Party with admirers of good music and good radio.

When?On the 15th of December, 19: 00!
What for?We celebrated together and listened together the concert of our favorite group Brainstorm!
In the program there were:
- Stylish «heating up» from the group Lilac;
- Full-length concert from the group Brainstorm;
- DJ set in the style FUNK SOUL DISCO from DJ LAUREL.

10.10.2010 on the radio Unistar a new 10 Anniversary radio season started
On October, 10, Sunday, you heard Unistar in the manner it is going to be during 10th Anniversary season. On their valid day off all the hosts of Unistar went on the air to spend this Day together with their listeners.
Unistar reviewed the results of work during 10 years and left for you everything best on the air. Not for nothing the motto of 10 Anniversary season is «Ten years among the stars»:

star DJs,
star programs,
and of course star listeners.
10.10.2010 on Unistar new issues and programs were presented — «Music Lovers’ Show», «Imaginarium», «Auto Biography», and also updated hits of the air: «Big City Morning», «Office of the Day», «In Movement», «On Seven Hits» and many other ones. And of course presents! A lot of presents!
All the season Unistar’s listeners will still wake up in the company of a «not saint trinity» — Kaverin, Miloslavskaya, Naidenov, work productively together with MEGAenergetic Vadim Savin and drive home with charming Kate Samsonova. And in the evenings Nokolay Bogumilchik, Konstantin Kaverin, Olga Nefedova author’s programs will wait for you. And on weekends you’ll go to the «Weekend-Voyage» with Julia Slavinskaya.
Our 10th Birthday will become a bright event of this Season! And this will be not one day or even one week, but 10 long holiday weeks, which will start on October, 10, on the day of the Season’s start, and will finish on December, 22 — right on the Birthday of Unistar.

The first event of the festival «Minsk meets «Russian Seasons of the XXI century» took place
On the 19 of August in the House of Moscow a closed event «Russian Seasons evening» supported by belarusian government took place. It was the first event in the festival «Minsk meets «Russian Seasons of the XXI century». Its idea inspirer Andris Liepa represented the project and told about the events which are taking place in Minsk till the 22 of October. At the event a fragment of video version of Liepa’s ballet «Sheherazada» was shown. Among the guests of «Russian Seasons evening» there were main people of the country, cultural figures and business elite. Ambassadors from Great Britain, Russia and Latvia were present.
The following event of the festival — photo exhibition «Russian Seasons of the XXI century» — will take place in the House of Moscow from the 1 till the 22 of October. On October 22 at the stage of National Theater of Opera and Ballet there will be presented Andris Liepa’s ballet stagings «Sheherazada» and «Firebird». After-party in the House of Moscow with directors and soloists of the project present will finish the festival this day.
This event’s initiator is the Fund named after Maris Liepa and personally the President of Fund’s government, national artist of Russia Andris Liepa. He renewed «Russian Seasons» created by Sergey Diagilev in the beginning of the XX century. The stagings «Sheherazada» and «Firebird» are having their 100 anniversary this year, that’s why they were chose to show in Belarus.

Julia Zavgorodniaya, program director of Unistar, was included into the list «TOP-50 Minsk» 2010 — of the most successful and beautiful people of Minsk.

As the general producer of the project Larisa Gribaleva says, «TOP-50» is created to note the most bright, outstanding, extraordinary and important in the society people. Among them there are representatives of variety art, journalists, sportsmen, artists, designers, businessmen — people of those professions which authorize the conception of ‘elite’ in any country of the world.
The rewarding ceremony «TOP-50 of the most beautiful and successful people of Minsk» pretends to have a secular character, aims at uniting intellectuals and turning attention to important names of the country.
The premium was presented on the 15 of July in Madison Royal Club. The hosts of the rewarding ceremony were Egor Hrustalyov and the hostess of the evening — Larisa Gribaleva.

RDS is now available in Brest!
Unistar 102, 3 FM in Brest admirers can not only listen to, but also ‘see’ the radio. In the end of June the first and still the only RDS in Brest started working (it is the system of information sharing which allows to broadcast extra information in FM range. On the tableaus of radio sets with RDS function which are tuned in to 102, 3 frequency the slogan “THE BEST MUSIC! GOLD AND NEW ONLY FOR YOU! UNISTAR 102, 3” will appear.

Radio Unistar became the Popov Premium 2010 laureate
On the 12 of June in San-Francisco the 12 festive ceremony of presenting International Professional Popov Premium in the sphere of broadcasting in Russian took place.
49 radio stations from Russia, Belarus and Armenia took part in the competition. 182 works were presented in 14 nominations. As a result of professional jury voting radio Unistar became the Premium laureate in two nominations at once.
Unistar’s information service project «12 Months» appeared to be the best information program, and «The Sound of History» — author’s project of Konstantin Kaverin — became the winner in the nomination «cultural program».
